Best Areas to Live in Noida for Working Professionals
A comparison of Noida's most popular sectors for renting and sharing a flat: Sector 62, Sector 18, the newer high-rise sectors and Sectors 75 to 78, with who each one suits.
How to choose a sector
Noida is laid out in numbered sectors, and the right one depends mainly on two things: where you work and which metro line you'll use. A sector two stops from your office on the metro is usually a better choice than one that looks close on the map but means an auto ride through traffic.
Sector 62
Sector 62 has a Blue Line station, with Sector 59 and Noida Electronic City stations on either side of it. If you work around here, the sectors along this stretch of the Blue Line are the obvious place to start.
Sector 18
Sector 18 has a station on the Blue Line, which runs directly into Delhi, so it suits people who commute to Delhi by metro.
Sectors 137, 143, 135 and 150: for newer high-rises
Sector 137, Sector 143, Sector 135 and Sector 150 have newer gated societies with power backup, security and amenities. Sector 137 and Sector 143 have their own Aqua Line stations.
Sectors 75, 76 and 78: for value
Sector 75, Sector 76 and Sector 78 are a dense belt of large residential societies, and Sector 76 has its own Aqua Line station. They usually offer good value, which is why they are popular for sharing flats.
